well i have a leaky heater core and i dont really care to replace. just wanna keep it from leaking coolant. any suggetions on how to ghetto rig it? I'm just gonna try deleting it completely

my idea... take one of the hoses leading into the firewall and simply loop in back into the engine. idk how that'll work with the elbow bends(may kink), but i got plenty of hoses laying around i could use.

You can bypass the heater core.

There are 2 rubber hoses for the heater core, you pull these off, hook one to the other with some kind of coupler, and make sure nothing leaks.

You can live without heat, but you will have a hard time defrosting your front windshield.
