Anyone have any experience with the ScanXL software and the GM Enhanced Diagnostics add-on? It's made by Palmer Performance.

I've been eyeballing this for a little while and though I've pulled the basic version demo down, I've spent little time with it. The support forums for it seem sort of hit and miss.

I'm just hoping to come up with something that gives me codes more than the standard OBDII and even the transaxle would be really useful.

Just thought I would put a feeler out to see if anyone has worked with it. I have the ElmScan 5 Compact Scan Tool and it works pretty well, but with the software I have is only basic OBD stuff.

I don't know much about those(I use the dealerships TechII Scantool), but I have seen several people post info using The Tiny Tuner. If you have a odb-lappy cable you can use the software for free for monitoring and tuning your car. Just a thought if your looking around

Appreciate the link, I pulled down Tiny but haven't messed with it yet. Appears basically tuner related which could be useful in the future.

However, I'm mostly looking to get basic codes and sensor data from things beyond OBDII on my GP (mostly the drivetrain/transaxle). The ScanXL with GM Enhanced looks like an candidate but hoped someone has used it?

Unfortunately I'm pretty noob to this so I'm even at tuning yet.
