    my gtp has bent the spark plug electrode gap closed two times in one week. now the second time i put a new plug in and now its knocking or ticking has anyone else had this problem or any suggestions? i think my dhp comp is acting up?

    If it bent the plug and the engine is knocking that usually means you have a chipped piston.. correct me if i'm wrong?

    Yeah you are missing a chunk of your piston. You need a new short block and possibly heads.

    yes ive had that problem before... unfortunately. U were knocking like a mofo and chipped a piston like 01 said. any mods? catalytic converter stopped up? low octane gas?

    02 GTP with mods 05 GP for DD

    Always 93 octane tog headers borla catback ported intake and sc thrasher cold air and 3.4 pulley last week it happend in 1 I changed the plugs then it just happend in 3 it wasn't knocking before but it has kinda a light ticking sound
