I'm a new guy to GP's.I've got a 06 SC GP with 50 k miles. Last summer I lost the heat in the car. Temp guage is 1/2 way to the top.Changed stat yesterday and had great heat. this morning, back to no heat.this afternoon heat again.I don't think the stat had anything to do with it.I'm gonna boil it and see what temp it opens at.I'm noticing a film in the overflow. Also it has small bubles while the engine is running.Should I get rid of the pink antifreeze? I'm seeing a post on here about a Temp actuater under the drivers knee bolster.Could that be a good place to start? Thanx, Tom

You have air in the system, and it needs to be bled out. There is a little bleeder vavle on top of the thermostat housing.

If you have bled it, several times, then you have a leak somewhere that is letting air in.
