I have a 2002 grand prix gtp. 3.8L SC. The engine is bogging down shortly after i start the car. I was told it was a air to fuel ratio so i bought a reprogrammed PCM with the correct ratio input. That PCM didnt help anything and the car keeps dying on me. Any suggestions on how to correct this and get it fixed so i can drive my car.

    Mods-
    3.25" SC Pulley
    SLP headers/downpie/cat
    Borla Cat-back
    MSD wires and coils
    NGK Iridium plugs
    K&N Intake.

first off you need to be running a 3.4" pulley more likely than not...

Buying a PCM thats corrected for the AFR is impossible. (unless people did e-tuning, but thats cost prohibitive)

Buy a 3800performance.com PCM for a 3.4 pulley setup and put a 3.4 on it.

your car will run better and be much safer.

I order all my parts from 3800performance.com. I just put the reprogrammed PCM on this past Friday. The guys their said the pulley shouldnt have anything to do with it and the new PCM should have fixed it.

Their PCM's are setup for a 3.4 pulley.

If you put on a 3.25 you'll run lean if you're tuned for a 3.4.

Without knowing anything more than "it bogs" I can't really suggest anything.

It idles for about 30 seconds then will knock 3 or 4 times until the engine dies completely.

Idles high at about 1800 as soon as i start then the first knock takes it down to 1000 RPM then down to about 500 RPM for 3 or 4 engine knocks then just dies.
