Hey all...I am new to the forum so I am not sure if this is the place to ask this...I have a 2006 GrandPrix. The power steering reservoir is full but whenever I make a turn, my car whines and moans. It sometimes is so loud it sounds like the car is going to blow up. Has anyone else noticed this problem with their Pontiac or does anyone have a clue as to what may be going on with my car?

GM pumps are infamous for being loud. Can you post a video cause everyone's definition is different. And are you certain its the pump?

If you are supercharged-When the supercharger bearings start going out it will sound similar to the PS pump.

the PS pump on my '05 makes very little noise in general. Its a little more noisy if i'm stopped and turn the wheels, but doesn't whine like i've heard other pumps do.
