Like before my car will randomly show false boost, some times it will show boost when i first start the car(usually cooler days) i checked and my BBV is working right, and i just replaced the vac line set(that's what i thought it was),and when it does it idles high. has anyone seen this before, it's a series 2 by the way.

are you reading that off the DIC boost meter with the bars?

or do you have a REAL boost gauge?

I would get a real boost gauge that shows you VAC and BOOST, that way you know whats really going on.

How do i know where it is, what's a good way to test for that. it just seams wierd that a vac leak would be random like that.

I've never done it but ppl around here say to spray carb cleaner towards the vac lines. If you car starts revving up, you've found your leak.
