A buddy of mine was able to secure an older N* TB and its bolt on MAF last week. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to use it with my GTP, or if I have to have a 2000+ N* TB. It's pretty much the same except the MAF for it bolts directly to the TB, so I'd pretty much have to use it rather than an LQ4. I don't have any pictures yet, but I'll get them if they will help with figuring out exactly what I'm talking about.

This was the 1st type of Northstar to be adapted to our engines way back, by Brian Teel. He no longer makes the kits, but WBodyStore sells a setup identical to what he made.

The adapter plates tend to come up for sale on various sites' Classified sections from time to time, or occassionally eBay (just be sure it's the 4-bolt '96-'99 version, not the 3-bolt '00+ version).

Send me a PM when you find that the cable bracket is a pain to make work with our shorter cable ends, and I'll give you a nice alternative.

Thanks for the info, and I will let you know when I get everything ready to install.
