I have a 99 gtp. I have a k&n cold air intake, 3" bolt in down pipe with cat bolted to a stock exhaust, 180 t-stat, 3.5 pulley, autolite 104 spark pulgs. i just had the thermostat, pulley, and plugs put in yesterday. The car was running 2 notches below the large notch that is in the middle of 160 and 210 on the oil temp guage. As it later tonight it was running 3 notches away from 210, it never gets that hot. I read in the reviews on the zzperformance website that the gaskets that are sent with the thermostats are garbage. Anybody have any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

    1. a custom tune will be the best for you if you can find a local tuner or buy the software and learn yourself

    2. you can send you PCM to some people on our forums like reptile and he will tune it to your needs

    3. you can buy a tuned PCM from either
PCM for Grand Prix GTP v1.0: 3800 Performance
    or
    INTENSE-Racing.com: INTENSE

He has a thermostat that kicks the fan on at the preset temp that he chooses. It's like the thermostat in your house.

PS- Dont buy a ZZP PCM. Before you ask why, do a search.
