    The regulator controls fuel pressure. Bypassing the low speed will have no effect on performance, just pump life and sound. Because more fuel will be returning on the return line I suppose its possible the fuel my get hotter.     Your questions been answered. Running the pump Highspeed all the time WILL NOT effect Pressure. It will just return the Extra fuel
