    i was wondering if anyone knows of a thread for taking out and installing a new outer tie rod, or if you know how.. i couldnt find one on here, and i have not a clue on how to install one. thanks

    are we taliking inner tie rod or outer tie rod.

    Easy to replace. Break the jam nut on the tie rod loose. Take the nut off the bottom of the tie rod end. You might need to hit the bottom of the tie rod with a hammer to knock it out of the knuckle. Spin the tie rod end off of the tie rod. Reassemble and then get the front end aligned.

    2002 GTP: GMPP Sway Bars, BMR trailing arms, KYB AGX/Vogtlands, 12" brake upgrade

    how do i get it alligned.. i installed the tie rods, and tomorrow im doing the hub assembly. do i have to go to a place to get the allignment done. its probably alot of money

    iirc I got a 4 wheel alignment for $70, think just a front was $50

    yes you are going to need to take it to a shop
    Its just a car.......with rust and dreams for the future!!!!
