If its a 2004 M90/case = GenV there will not be any holes on the under side to tap, ad press the bearings out of the case with hydraulic pressure/grease gun.
Some earlier and for sure 1996-2003 M90s were GenIII's and had the relief holes already drilled into the bottom of the case we tap and use pressure to remove the case needle bearings.
I fabricated my own tool that removes the bearings from the case through the inside of the case specifically for GenV's since I rebuild enough of these for others anyway.
Not too common though for GenV's to even need to have these bearings in the case touched. I have done several snout rebuilds, for leaky snout seals, and coupler changes on Gen V's. For the most part, these are still new enough, and dont really have the problems that you normally find with a used GenIII M90, even if the GenV had 200K miles + on it...it still rocks hard when bolted up with out doing a thing to it.
Its common on all M90s to see scratching inside the case. Dont do a thing to the rotors, or the inside of the case, dont clean, or do anything and you will be fine.

So is it possible to do the pressure trick at all on the 04 plus? The bearings in the back are completly dry! I just want to make sure that as long as i have it apart that I replace them. All Ive done is clean the inside in the parts washer to get some of the oil deposits out. I have used a tool on a small slide hammer once that expanded at the end, but its been so long I cant remember for sure?
