I would say the second if those are the only 2 options you have.... at least it's not as close to the cross-over pipe (heat).

the reason im not gonna go fwi is because i hear the filters get real dirty that way and theres a big chance for water to get in it. Also, a lot of people on here say that open cones are better than everything else. My only two options for right now are the ones shown.

Why not just put a longer straight piece and suck the air above the PCM area? I guess I could see, my FWI gets real dirty.... but I have a corvette filter intake, so it doesn't matter with the amount of filter area. Regarding the water, just don't floor it while going through puddles... never had a problem here, but you are also a GTP, so you suck more (air).

if i put a longer piece the filter will hit that little black box which is the cruise control?
