Hey guys I just put an engine in my car for the 2nd time in the past month. And we got the second motor in and it runs great except cylinder number 1 does not want to fire. It does have spark we checked that. The only problem we could hear with a stethascope is that the injector sounds a little bit different from the rest. So we ended up putting in an injector and it did the same thing so we put a 2nd one in and it's the same thing. Is just that one cylinder getting a bad reading?? I'm really not sure. that would be great if some of you guys could give me an idea of what it is because I am dieing to drive this thing!!! Thanks guys, mitch

It could be the wiring or the injector driver in the PCM. They'll usually throw a code, though.

Compression test it, If it comes back low and If the motor sat long sometimes the Piston rings can freeze.Take out the plug and shoot some PB blaster in there and rotate the engine a few times. Worth a try Ive had to do that when I had a civic that we swapped, and it worked.
