Lately my car has been kinda up and down upon start up ( but doesnt die).At first i didnt think anything of it but now when i get on it a lil, it sputters out. My pulleys and belts are fine. I checked my trans fluid lvl and noticed it being way high. Would the high lvl be due to the new PCM? and if so could this be a problem or possibly the problem in my case? thkns

pcm won't overfill a trans, but that shouldn't cause an poor running engine, a vacuum leak, or bad fuel filter will cause that (as well as a few other things)

I used to have an issue where if on a hill, I gave it a little gas and let off it would almost die. Turns out my IAC was dirty. Just a thought.

actually, my check engine light went on yesterday...after getting on it a bit, anyways, i scanned it and it was just a misfire in cylinder one. I changed the plug and wire just to be safe but still it does it. Im thinkin i need to look towards the coil now...

i recently had a problem with that happening... i check the MAF sensor and it read fine but thats the code that kept popping up. what was happening is the wires connecting to the MAF were rotted and once i replace the wires and connector it ran superb. I got it done a t a dealership for .5 hours and a $20 connector. that would be my suggestion. fiddle with the wires and see if you get any chugging thats a key indicator
