That has to be the worst comeback ever...and how am I still wrong...your post says absolutely nothing. And if you know anything about these cars in the first place you should know the catback is the LEAST restrictive part of the exhaust system. U-Bend is first and then the downpipe. You WANT a 3" Downpipe on these cars...if our using a 2.5" DP and modding your car anywhere past a couple bolt-ons...you should be going 3". As for the manifold porting...is it better than stock? Yes. Is it worth taking off and porting? Not really. That "sound" you got in the exhaust was from the DP, not porting the manifold. If you think you got more sound out of the car by taking some casting off of a piece manifold...YOUR wrong.

Was saying you should get the right size to fit the catback like 3" to 2.5 ya know ...thats if you dont have plans to change the catbackk err.
idc what anyone says when you open up something it will give more sounds just like if you had a horn kinda closed up then you open it more and you will get more sound.
yeah the dp takes most of the credit for the iimproved sound. But opening up the front manifold to equal the size of the rear is gonna make the sound equal out a little better.
