I'm getting a check engine light P0410 code indicating trouble with the secondary air intake pump. After looking for some info on the forum, it looks like a real tough nut to crack. Does anyone know if I will pass Massachusetts emissions test if I just ignore it? Or should I try a fix?

Ride is a 2000 Grand Prix SE 3.1 V6 with 174k on the odometer and still running strong; just had the AC fixed and don't want to be dumping money under the hood.
Thanks
