Personaly I would drain it and fill with water run it then drain it the fill with water run drian pull the over flow bottle drain clean as much as you can do one more flush with water and fill with green
Or find a shop with a pressure flusher and have them do it
drain and fill works good. Turn heater on too. Get air out of the system when you replace it with coolant.
GTP: Dexcool
SS: Water Wetter and Distilled Water
BMW: BMW Coolant, it's blue, lol
Well I don't have time right now to flush the system can I just ad the green kind in there?
yeah its brown so i gotta ad that same kind? would they have it at autozone
yea you dont want to mix the coolants. Is your low or somthing?
and yes they should have it.
Bull. There is no problem at all switching from Dex-Cool to conventional and leaving some of the Dex in there. It's going the other way that's the problem. You don't just want to top off a Dex system with conventional, but as long as you change the majority, you're fine.
yeah and i think i got a small leak somewhere lol heres a pic

Sorry, I was just coming back here to delete that post as it seems he was talking about topping off. You're right, you do not want to top of a Dex system with conventional.
Looks like your water pump is leaking.
I like the yellow i just don't mix it.
