X2.. Do some searching around here. Go to the search bar and type in air intake or something along those lines . Search around and see what others have had to say about it. Most will just make their own or even just stick a open cone filter on the the TB.

Just put a dry flow filter on the end of your maf sensor and call it good.

Do what I said spend at most $50 on a filter and be happy with something works better than stock and is cheap.

amsoil, but I am biased because I sell them. I would recommend any dry flow filter really.

disconnect stock air box from maf sensor
    remove factory box
    attach filter to maf sensor.

do you think that it would be better to attach it to the throttle like fivefingerdeathpunch said?

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/f18/2...rch-17346.html

blowfish talks about his intake and says that the newer models have an external maf. might help you out

yeah, the 04+ have an external MAF. Here's a pic of my old setup.

Where you see the 45* bend meeting the coupler i had to use a slightly smaller pipe to wedge the rubber open, but i'm sure you can make something up. That's a spectre filter, works great. What you see here cost me about 50 bucks.

make sure you shield the filter from the hot air of the engine bay, some use the wizair, or a plastic garbage can cut to fit then insulated
