    I have a 96 3.4L GTP and i've lost reverse and its strugling in drive! Is the tranny shot??? What years and engine sizes are compatable with this year and engine size for expanding my search for a new trans if needed?.... Please Help!!!

    Well, I’d say, with a high degree of confidence, your tranny is shot. Most of the “experts” on this site are knowledgeable with the 97-03 GPs with the 3.8L engine. Maybe someone will chime in, otherwise sounds like a call to your local tranny shop is in order.
