HI, i bought my 98 gtp and im having problems with the air. i can turn it on and hear it blowing but it wont go out any of the vent i feel it a little out of the defroster (front windshield) but only barely and it wont switch vents. could it be a loose vac line or something?

    Thankyou,
    Frank

Yes it most likely is a vacuum line off someplace...look under the hood for a small plastic line and follow to both ends looking for any problems..good luck

I have this same problem! Only I have a GT, and it comes out of the floor vents very forcefully, barely out of the top vents, and barely out of the defroster. It will switch vents, but not to the top vent.

I am getting ready to replace the valve control, which is in the very corner on the front passenger side, under the glove compartment, near the firewall.

Alright, it's the control vacuum control solenoid. It's common to many GMs apparently. AC Delco part# is 15-72182. I'm first going to pull it off and see if I can fix it, and if not, order a new one. I will post if this fixes it.
