Im converting my single exhaust into a dual, and would like to know what types of mufflers i can use. I want to install two Super 44 flowmasters but i am not sure if i can fit those...if you know if they will fit or know of a equally good muffler that i can use let me know thanks!

well, best thing would be to measure the size of the original, compare to the new ones, if they are the same size they will fit. If the new ones are bigger a dry test fit can be done to make sure if they fit or not.

There is plenty of room for about any performance muffler.

I converted my single exhaust on my 3.1 SE to duals using GMPP's cat back exhaust system which is actually a magnaflow cat back system for the 3.8 GT's and comes with polished SS maganflow mufflers for the GT, SS tips, and a polished SS magnaflow resonator as well as a 2.5 inch y pipe made from 409 stainless steel. Very satisfied with the end result-power increase, sound, mileage, and engine temperature reduction-all good! Well worth the $450 I paid for the whole kit-gmpartsdirect.
