Is it necessary to have an alignment done when replacing the front bearings or ball joints. I'm getting the work done at the dealer and would like to know if it's automatically done with this type of work or should I request it.

Should not have to. If it pulls after wards then yes. Also **** the deal ship. You can do the bearings in like 1 hr for both. And ball joints are not bad either.

shops will tell you to do an alingment, but hey, its a shop and what can you expect from them? they will sell you anything

you don't need an alignment. you arent messing with anything that would affect camber or toe.

Tell them it pulls also then. Then ask for an alignment.
