heat it up or soak it in pb blaster/wd40
and a lot of elbow grease
i had one car i just put in a new bung for cause it wouldnt come out
kk thanks man ill keep trying
Lot's and lots of heat, like glowing red hot.
is o2 socket worth it or can i get job done with stubby or adjustable wrench? we had adjustable on it and put pry by tranny dipstick and man it wouldnt budge. used liquid wrench let it warm up. ill get tourch and heat it rite up and c. thanks for help boys! man i love this site
I used a 12" extension on with a swivel adapter. Then muscled the **** outta it. All of the sudden i heard a creakin then pop it was loose. And if you haven't tried it yet PB Blaster is your friend! Every shade tree mechanic should have a can of it laying around!
ya still no luck starting to get a lil mad! heated it up tried pb blaster thinking bout just buying some headers
How hot? Lol
pretty much red hot! it burnt like hell when i touched it. definatly gonna leave a scar
This is a dumb question but are you using a o2 Sensor Socket ? It seems to make things a bit easier. I tried removing mine with a wrench and never got it to budge. Bought the socket and had it removed and replaced in 10 minutes.
get a longer bar and a big hammer. if you break it off go to a shop and have them put in a new spot to put it. either way itll be good as new
seriously, an open end wrench with a 3foot pipe on it, if you dont either break the wrench, o2 sensor, or something else, your not putting enough pressure on it.
a wrench with a mini sledge works good too.
if you are trying that hard, just use a damn impact and if you break it, just another excuse to get headers.
Pb blaster, and the shock from a hammer, broke free in a few minutes for me.
