I have had some problems with my 3100 heating up a little at ideal. I just had the intake and head gasket replaced. Right now the right fan will kick in when it gets between 210 and the next mark on the gauge. The fan will shut off when it gets below 210. But then in 5-7 min it gets hot enough for the fan to kick in again and does the same thing.
I want to run a switch inside the car to turn on the fan manually. How do you do this and how hard is it?
Also I have a 195 t stat I am thinking that I am going down to a 180 to help this too.
Remember its only high 40's-50's here right now and its getting hot I can't think of how it would be when its 80's-90's.

    Thanks for your help.

make sure the system is bled properly, but also note that is technically how the system should work at idle (you have no airflow helping keep things cool) I hate the manual fan controls if you aren't racing it is a band aid only (racing you leave them on after shutting down the engine)

I just see it on the Camaro boards since alot of guys have senders go bad, and they are too lazy to fix it (it bugs me when someone rigs their car to work rather than fix it right)

Mine is not broke. The fan turns on and all but I would like to have it one earlier then what it is and when I am sitting at ideal
