finally got em in wow what a b**** it was, the u-bolts arent there anymore i put band clamps on, the only problem is i have a leak where the straight pipe bolts up to the stock exhaust but should be fixed soon, and i think there is a leak coming right off the head? and will a cat delete throw an SES light?
Did you put RTV on the EGR connection? That's where my only leak is.![]()
if you get the s/c felpro exhaust mani gaskets then they should have gasket for the EGR
Yes, cat delete will throw a SES light. Something like "converter efficiency", not sure of the code #. It can be turned off with a tune as I understand.
has anyone had problems with the crossover not fitting worth sh*t? mine barely slips in and doesn't line up good. had a band clamp on it and the joint blew apart. gettin sick of these headers. might go to TOGS.....
everything is in correctly. i had to buy a small piece of pipe to extend crossover pipe. was roughly an inch to an inch n a half too short.
Something is fishy here. Mine fit perfect, everything aligned like it was meant too, and I did'nt need to buy anything else except sealant for the slip joints. Unless something has changed, you might have that crossover in backwards.
crossover goes in one way only. maybe had a new guy at the factory make the bends lol i got a pic of it. a bit messy cause i had metal tape that melted off. sealed til i got on it a few times. i'm gonna clamp again hope to seal. cant tune car right with the leak
with the leak i got average 10.5-11.5 A/F, 14* timing 850mv O2, 16.4 LTFT. get very minimal kr. one rip i logged i got 15* kr!!!!! only time that happened. i should be goin faster than i am. i did a 14.20 @ 97.76 with a 2.01 60ft on winter tires lol
