Try SS Auto Chrome headers...they are pretty damn easy to install of 3800 headers and they are less than $350 to your door.

Ok, this is the last thing. For real this time.
I still havent freggin got this system yet, but im getting it done next month, finally.

Heres the question. Ive decided to stick with the resonator becuase people keep telling me if i take it off, my car will sound like a pissed off lawnmower, not cool.
So i know im going with 2.25 size pipe from teh cat back, now what i cant figure out is does anyone know how dynamax systems sound???? If someone does, do you have a sound clip?
The system is pretty affordable, and i think thats what im going to go with, i just wnat to make sure it sounds right.

    Please let me know. Thanks.

Dynomax Super Turbo's are great mufflers...and if your doing a catback...just keep the stock catback and put new mufflers on it...you want to get rid of the restrictive downpipe anyways...the catback is the least of your issues. If you want it to sound a bit throatier...get a big glasspack in place of the stock resonator.

Ok thanks!!!! I think I was going to go 2.25" pipe from the cat back. The whole system is a tad rusty, so I was just going to go ahead and replace it.

Do u have a glasspack on your car? How does it sound?

Eventually I want to change the whole system headers on down. I just don't have the $ to do all that right now.

My exhaust was rusted bad too. I went with P-Log, 3" cat D/P, SLP cat back. Sounded great, but too loud. After putting 2.5" Magnaflow after the cat it mellowed alot, but interior resonance was off the chart. Dynamat didn't help! The solution turned out to be Car Chemestry resonator inserts, bought mine at Jegs, Summit has them too. I bought three 2.5" 3 disk inserts, one at outlet of each muffler, one at inlet of Magnaflow resonator, problem cured! The inserts just slide into the pipe and can be held there by a clamp, weld tack or screw.
