Hey I have read the article about modding your gtp but I would like a clearer answer on something. Don't use iridium plugs with super charged cars? My car has 130,000 easy miles and needs a tune up(slight miss.) I AM NOT GOING RADICAL, Daily driver. Most i see myself doing horespower wise would possibly be CAI. With that said, which plug do I want to use and 7mm or 8mm wires? I have already changed fluids and filters prior to that excellent article, and I mean it. That was a very good article. Thanks for the help. Like everybody, I am trying to save money but I get a really good discount at the local parts store. I just did not want to by something that would hurt the motor. By the way, I pulled plugs that are in it. Not original AC 401's that showed signs of wear.
    Thanks for the help.

if youre not going anywhere fast with the car its not going to matter what plugs or wires you buy. we just recommend copper plugs because they work well with boosted motors. you can run some platinums if youd like, but they just dont perform as well. copper plugs are also cheap and plugs are easy to change with every other oil change.

for the wires, just replace the stock ones with another delco set.

it wont hurt it, its just not ideal. i would still recommend platinums over iridiums.

If you're going platinum plugs go with AC 41-932's. They're 1 heat range colder. So even though you're not modded or won't be modding heavily it might cure any kr you have right now.

Thanks for the help. I had free time this weekend so I did the tune up. I replaced the plugs with delco iridiums and new delco wires. Idle was smooth. I hadn't used Accel coil packs before so I decided to try them. I returned the Accel packs today. The car would barely idle. Old delcos are back on with no miss and smooth acceleration.
