there is a swishing noise that has started in my dash after letting the car set up several months.at 1st i thought it was wiper motor, during ice storm the wiper arms were stripped where they wont fit right onto the post so they've ben removed therefore its possiable for wipers to be on and not realize it being there are no wiper arms or blades.i said all that to let you no what the sound is like accept its in the dash. it does it wheather the heat, air is on or off,has dual climate control.could it be the vacuum to the heat/air controls? everything seems to work proper other than this swishing noise, sounds like something trying to open or close,i'm stumped.

sounds like you have air in ur cooling system try bleeding it, your heater core is probaby parshally blocked not causing it to circulate properly u can alway use a garden hose and flush it by pulling the lines off and spraying the hose threw both heater lines,

air bubble in your heater core. if you aren't getting coolant inside your car (do you smell antifreeze?) then it's not a huge deal.

    GET MOAR COOLANT.

    and bleed the system.

Hot spots = bad for your engine.
