not that i like to agree with NickDrilled and Slotted rotors are amazing compared to stockers. The ones he is using must be cheap-o's. If you want good D/S rotors...then buy them from R1 Concepts off of EBay....
but x2. I have had these on 2 cars with no problems. stopping is excellent. Drilled rotors actually prevent warping
actually it does. drilled rotors are cooler than blanks. the holes reduce surface area, which lowers friction, which lowers heat. the holes dissapate the heat too.
the main purpose, is to release the gas that builds up during braking between the rotor and pad, which can deteriorate the rotor. It can also release debri that builds up between the rotor and pad
