    Hello,

I know some of you have the home-link sun-visor on your cars to open your garage doors and such. Was this a factory option? If so is it hard to find a visor like this and or wire it up?

I recently bought a house in Sept. and would like to get rid of the huge bulky garage door opener off my visor area.

    TIA.

I'm bringing this back because I'm looking for a solution as well. I know Morad has some, but for $115, I'm looking elsewhere. Anybody know if any other sun visors from other cars will fit? I found some great condition sets from both a 09 LaCrosse, and an 05 CTS, both listed below half of what morad wants. Are W-Body sun visors interchangeable?

Sooo hey I have a how to, anyone surprised.. I love homeylink

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/how-a...ner-39802.html

And if that's not good enough. Here's another solution. I have this mirror in my Regal. Wiring was pretty easy. It's homelink with autodimming and compass.

I think I will go the BillBoost route with the mirror as I would be killing 3 birds with 1 stone (broken mirror replacement, adding compass, adding homelink).

And as for the wiring, its uses only the bottom row and the left and right are power while the center is the ground correct?

I did this 3 years ago and never looked at a diagram. The mirror had a pigtail with it. and I think black/red was power black/white was ground and I think there was a black/orange for igntion. I think

most homelink setups either have black red or for the mirrors seems theres a 3rd wire, either way super simple and youll love it when you get done

No dice. I get a bunch of install guides, but their mirrors all came with it.

I'd like to put it in my visor. Does anyone know how a GP visor comes apart? Or, can they come apart?
