I'm looking to do this myself for my 01 GT (3.8L). I know there's no welding involved and it's just a matter of bolts for the cat converter. I dont know where the before sensor is though. I just landed a new job and I've been laid off for 10 mos and I need to get my car going! Need help! Thanks!

I already ordered a cat that will match exactly what I have... I didn't get a universal. It is a direct fit. No welding, no cutting or bending needed.

Its straight forward spray the bolts with penetrating oil first(liquid wrench,pb blaster,wd40) let sit an hour or so and it really helps if you have access to air tools but if not more then likely you will need a breakerbar for the exhaust bolts

The o2sensor is easy as well just depends wich one you want to change out
A o2 sensor socket is handy autozone rents the o2 sensor kit
