its old. the car used to have a blower on it too. honestly i think its a stupid project because a northstar is junk to begin with. the car is also uglier than sin. anyone with any form of sense would have left this project alone.

I liked the video, so I went a did a quick research of the Northstar engine series. The only model I can see being used is the L37 series, and it is impressive with its 300hp and 295lb torque. Yes, there are other models kicking out major hp and torque, but......they were modified for RWD and AWD applications.

Anyways, even though it is a nice looking motor, and sounds pretty nice, with the help of aftermarket exhaust I'm sure, I wouldn't put myself through the work/effort of converting to this Northstar motor. The compression ratio is to high for power adders. I suppose you could go with different n/a addons. In the end though, it's not for me. I always try to way out the pro's/con's of doing something. From the title of the video, it seems as though this project was only done for image standing purposes only, not so much with performance in mind. I will say this, the one thing I liked the most from the video, he had a 5 speed manual tranny!!!! If there is a conversion for a manual tranny, I must get it!
