I have a 97 SE and I was woundering are the grills the same size as the GT models?.. I dont know anyone that has a GT so I cant measure it or take mine off to compare it.

My grills are under the the bumper line... not above it like the GT's

    Thanks

The se grills that are lower then the bumper line are NOT the same as the gt grills that are above the bumper line. They have a different shape and the se's are bigger and I think flatter?..

So I don't think you should buy them unless your gonna put them on a different car besides yours.

    MMM... Catfish Bumper

That would be the first thing i would do if I owned a SE is change out that front bumper. Pontiac should have been shot for putting that on a car.

BTW no our stock grills won't fit on your bumper. You can get a new GT \ GTP bumper for around $100.00 on eBay.

He came over and they didnt work... SE's a lil bigger.

Bumper switch is no-go... Id rather put money in the Vette before that. And to really drive you guys crazy... BRA! ... oh yeah I have a new one the previous owner never used! (they were afraid of the paint getting scrapped up...)

Im going to have a Bra'd catfished front! Whooooot!

You are going to fade the paint like crazy on the front if you put on that bra and take it off any any point. Will look really dull compared to the rest of the front end. Trust me, I have seen it. It is awful. I'd rather put a protective film from 3m or someone on the front of the car to protect against chips and such.

    Car is white...

We now call it the white catfish... Went to the warehouse were my cars are being stored to run them and etc. and I was talking to my friend about the car.. I mentioned what people on the GP forum called the cars with that perticular front bumper... we laughed and now I am thinking about a decal for it... Cause his idea of a giant hook attached to look as if it were in the mouth of it... I dont think so

But with the bra on... it will be like a mask... so white~catfish~bandito!.. OLaY!

I would never let the Vette or the Camaro for that matter ever sercome to this abuse, they really don't have knicknames.... my friend calls the camaro really f'n fast... well it is fun to drive, I have and him as well have driven/owned faster.

^^ Doesn't matter what color the car is it is still going to fade the front bumper. I've seen SE's with a mask on before and it doesn't look any better IMO.
