depends what they wrote, it they type "/thread" it means, end thread.

If they type TL;DR it means too long didn't read, which is then followed by bluntness then by "/thread" to signify that they believe the thread is a waste of time.

It does mean end. Google HTML Basics or something man. See if i was going to insert an image onto this page i would type " [img]whatever[/img] " With HTML you have an open bracket and a close bracket.

Thus people started using /RANT for "end Rant" or "I'm Done" .

Thats not nice to call the smart people names, this isnt high school. I use the search button al lthe time with my monte carlo problems and I usually find information just fine.
