I Bought my car modded, not to the extent that that is. After 8 months my trans went out. Buy a stock car not a modded one...

in all honesty though, it sounds to me like it was modded pretty well (hope to GOD they have a good tune) although these guys are right about the trans. Triple edge trans upgrade??? i think you should

well i test drove the car and everything and the shifts are REALLY clean. and there was no really problems at all that i saw. so you all have your opinions about what will happen but this car was REALLY taKen care of. he only tooK it to the tracK. he didnt race it liKe 20 times a day. hes 34 and has a family so i doubt hed race with them in there. but i saw how well taKen care of it was. it was a beauty. and if the tranny does give out then i just buy a new one. not that hard. even "IF" the tranny gives out ill just put idK how much into a new one. not difficult. but at least i save some time and money on the mods i was already gonna do.

Transmissions sound like they are cheap where you come from? You do know a transmission replacement at a DEALERSHIP runs about 3-4 grand right? A Triple Edge Performance transmission sits around $2,000 or so...but if you have chump change like that...it shouldnt be a big deal.

All I have to say is be careful and take more time with the car before you buy it.
My dad test drove a gtp for me and he's not as observant as me. So when the car came home, yea it was nice drove ok, new paint, engine was clean as a whistle...
But then I started doing alignment, and then the cv axles were bad.. I needed new tires. I think the motor mounts are going. The trunk has some goo in it. The interior was missing pieces, and I need a new bearing in my supercharger.
Just spend more time with it and really observe EVERYTHING. I mean after all, you don't want a lemon. And with a modded car, ask A LOT of questions.

Just going to throw this out there but most mid to high end GM cars have KR, I have pre 2000 northstar and can throw regular unleaded in. The KR is so accurate I get a 2mpg dropoff and a power loss of maybe 10% at WOT.
