    Hi everyone, I have a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix , My shifter lights on the consold do not work , Where do i beging to fix this problem ? I dont see a seperate fuse for this in the book.

    I dont have the factory warrenty as the milage is over 36000

    Have the same problem and asked our local dealer and they said i would have to replace the entire shifter, like 300 - 400 bucks. totally gay! passenger temp up light is out and passenger heated seat light is out, would have to replace all that too if i wanted it fixed.

    I had the same problem. you will have to take those 4 bolts that hold the consul. Once you take that off under the shifter it a peanut bulb you can replace. I paid 1.63 from the chevy dealership. Part number 9421330. You do not have to swipe out the whole consul.

Some dealerships dont want to help you cause you dont have one of the cars on their lot
