it whines all the time and worse when i turn but only until the car warms up. the wheel gets stiff too sometimes but not all the time. i figure it bein old fluid its prolly really thick when its cold then thins out when its warm but idk...

The old fluid may not help. But I am going to bet you need a new steering rack. Of course, for the price of steering pumps, it wouldn't hurt to replace that as well.Originally Posted by DaytonaGTP
But the "morning sickness" sounds like a rack issue to me. The longer you put it off, the worse it is going to be for the pump to struggle.

ugh... a rack is such a pita. well i guess my tax check is prolly goin to this then. oh well what good are mods when i cant steer the car...lol
