Hi, I bought a 2000 Grand Prix GTP saturday and I have been driving to and from school in it this week. Well on monday I noticed that there was only heat on the passenger side that there was very little air coming out. So I read up on the issue and sure enough one of the teeth in the blend door actuator was broken so that is currently being fixed on my kitchen counter. Well, I have been trying to figure out why there is such a significant difference between when the blend door is in the cool position and when it is in the position to draw air over the heater core. Thinking that the heater core is covered with leaves or something and seeing no one else on the site with the issue I disassembled the whole deal only to find out that there is no debris in the heater core fins. So now I come to yall for help. Do all grand prixs move such little air in heat mode or is there something that may be plugged up. I pretty much have the interior completely apart and I am perfectly comfortable going into it deeper. I just don't want to get this far and have to throw it all back together without fixing the issue.
