Can anyone recommend a good engine builder in the NJ area? I need to do a top swap. Based replies from the forum, I picked up a 39k mile na 2005 engine from a Lacrosse and I only paid $300. I need someone to assemble it for me. Recommendations???

Aren't you in Hackensack? If you have a place to work, I can bring you just the engine.

thats the thing, no where to work, no hoist.

i work on my car at my friends house. he really dont want me working on my car there, but i work on his stuff so i get away with it. hes got a new paver driveway and i dont think he'd let me clear out his garage to work on someone else car.

its gonna be bad enough when i hit him up to do my car. i know im gonna get the stink eye lol

Ok thanks, I'll keep looking. I have a garage and lift but no power. My garage landlord doesn't allow mechanic work .

a shop will rape you on the labor i bet. engine swaps are like 5 to 600 if not more, then all the gaskets and fluids you need.

ive heard of that shop, but know nothing about them.
