Well if you saw my cars build thread then you've seen how ghetto my left headlight is. I'm looking at a few options here. The ebay projectors dont look horrible, but i've heard they shake alot while driving. But i love the 1 piece look so are the 220+ projectors from places like ilovebodykits.com and all the cheapo rice markets any better? Also the factory style ebay replacements...are they any good and they also have the oe style only black chrome which i love. Any opinions based on experience would be awesome on this, thanks! BTW heres a pic of my headlight for everyone else to get a laugh, The car came like this!

all the projectors are the same, just from different companies. just make sure you get the black ones. the chrome ones are all kinds of ugly.

Well I hate to be that guy but the projectors in my opinion are just ok. I am one of the guys who bought them during the group buy and had to shell out $350 for these. I'm on my second set. I was lucky enough to live near spyder auto and also lucky enough that they replaced them for free. The clear coat on the outside of the lens on my first set started flaking off. I do like the one piece design of the lights and the light output with HIDs is great. But knowing what I know now I would have just kept my black headlights with HIDs.

I forgot to mention that if you ever need help getting the projectors to work feel free to contact me. I will be glad to help.

How good is this light? is a whole lot better than stock headlights? because stock headlights really suck! would you say this lights are great compared to stuck headlights or they the same but it just make the car look good?

The factory ones are really lousy. Give me a good ole halogen sealed beam. I have thought about halogen bulbs, but I feel that the light quality is going to be limited by the bulb shroud anyways. I may try to modify the shroud. It has to be it limiting the light output. When I go out in front and look at them they look bright but they are weak looking out from the inside. A good windshield clean will help I'm sure but they are still WEAK!!!!!!!!!! The headlights in my parents Explorer light up they fricken world. Why can't I have some light. I had a 65 fastback Mustang and an 84 Monte Carlo SS with halogen sealed beams and had no problems seeing down the road. Was there a new standard passed or something. My wife has a Bonneville and those similarly manufactured headlights work well also. Again,,, Whats the deal.. That stupid bulb shroud. I know it's supposed to shape the beam... But not kill it .. Any more ideas before I jerk out the bulb shrouds.???
