I was looking at the different intercooler options and I ran across a kit from W Body Store that looked close to the Zzp kit but was cheaper. I am wondering if anybody has tryed the kit and if so how well does it work. What intercooler kit is most recommended otherwise?

they are all the same as far as how they work. you need to worry about your PCV functionality which is what the difference between them might be. im not sure if wbodystore has made the provisions to keep it functional yet.

Yeah I don't know either and once I added up all the extra stuff it wasn't much cheaper so I will probably go with the zzp full size whenever I get the money. I was also wondering which zzp core would be better, stage 2 or stage 3. I am just curious because the stage 3 is plastic and I would think that the aluminum would be stronger but it would not disapate the heat as well.

dont worry about the stage 3. i think its a waste of money. the performance gain from it is minimal at best.

Alright that's what I was thinking just wanted to double check. The last question for now would be whether to do headers first or an intercooler or doesn't it matter?

intercooler will be a better choice, but headers will be a great second mod.

don't get the stage 3...They crack/frey around the holes for the s/c bolts, along with sealing issues as well. Stick with the aluminum.
