The Boost Gauge in my DIC wasn't working right. The bars would stay lit up. I checked for vacuum leaks & found a loose sensor melted on top of my rear headers.
Anyone have one of these they don't need? Otherwise it looks like it's Pontiac or the junkyard.

Is the MAP sensor the same for SE, GT & GTP?

Why did it melt? Missing a heat shield?
Or is it common for those to have a melt down (how is this possible with only 5V reference signal)?
