Are there any drawbacks to running colder plugs than necessary? For example throwing in a set thats 2 heat ranges colder than stock on a bone stock motor. I went through the "safely modding your 3800" sticky and learned a ton lol, but I didnt see anything specific to this question

running them without needing them just makes your mileage go down unnecessarily. either way copper plugs are dirt cheap so stick with the stock heat range when you are stock, 104s with any pulley drop up until a 3.2 pulley or so, and 103s past that.
