This is the only picture I could find for you. It is for an 04, but should work for you. Is this what you wanted?

yes, you can't really do it without that pulley. You need a dummy pulley as you stated.

So, I think I’m getting it. You want a belt routing pattern for an A/C delete setup. Well, to be honest I have never heard of a car with a serpentine belt route that could just skip a component and still work properly. I have always heard of people just adding dummy pulleys and maintaining the stock route.

Even if you were to totally negate the A/C as a whole...you physically can't just get a smaller belt...in order for it to wrap tight enough it would hit the water pump...making it fail. Just get the A/C bypass pulley and bracket.

Unless your AC compressor is bad...I'd probably mention that there's not enough of a difference to remove it. If you are removing a good compressor, please pm me. I'd be interested in buying and wouldn't need shipping.

Hey guys! I used the search function and found that it appears the only option I have to bypass the a/c is to get the a/c bypass pulley.

My girlfriend has a 99 GTP and the a/c clutch is apparently going out, a loud noise coming from that area and Is sounds like the same thing when my a/c clutch was going out on my Camaro. She was told it would be about $900 to fix it because they need to replace the compressor, etc. She's getting a new car In December and giving me the GTP since I totaled my truck and I don't need A/C so I'm just going to do the A/C bypass pulley. It sounds pretty simple to do and cheap also!

Now that i'll be taking over the GTP, i'll be using this forum a lot. I was on LS1tech when I had my Camaro and found the forums to be very helpful.
