ok none of my friends know about grand prixes so i have no one to ask about what i should do so far as exhaust i have little money so i decided on 2 options
    a. remove the catalytic converter and replace it with a pipe and get new magnaflow mufflers
    b. get a magnaflow catalytic converter and get new magnaflow mufflers

im not looking for power increases just deep sound
    sound clips would be amazing

a high flow cat is expensive, but it sounds good. without the cat will be slightly louder and has the possibility of rasp, even with the resonator still there. so here are your real choices:

cheap - just mufflers - will be the quietest and least possibility of drone/rasp
not as cheap - mufflers and straight pipe the cat area - will be the loudest and might rasp/drone
not cheap - high flow cat and mufflers - will sound the best

dont do flowmasters. i cant say i like magnaflow either. you need to try and get more of a high end muffler on the car if you really want it to sound nice. you need to define a tone, not make it louder or "deeper".

there are lots of grand prix exhaust videos on there. none of those cars will sound anything similar to how your car will.

res delete = instant raspy, cat delete = normally ungodly loud and annoying. If you must you can get a high flow magniflow uni cat from summit for about 100, leave the res cause that calms the rasp down, then decide on a muffler. I personally like magnaflow but i've only used them on v8's, never piped a v6 especially a boosted one at that, so that being said, which was said before every car is different but no res never sounds good. IMO
