104's are fine...a 3.5" is basically a 3.4" so there is no issue IMO.
If you don't want to spend the money and you have a dremel...pull off the front manifold and hog the crap out of it...better than nothing and it is free...plus you can do that with your supercharger too...por the outlet to lower the outlet temps to even further reduce KR...and if you can turn a wrench you can por those things...I never had and ported the only blower I had and it was pretty easy...do that before dropping...that should be good enough for a 3.5" and if you have a MPS or a way to scan some cars can even run a 3.4" with just those mods...it is all in the car...and the tune. A custom tune should aeven allow you to run a 3.4" if the guy who is doing the tuning knows his way around the 3800.
