    I have never heard of anything like this.

    But you hear a noise that is not really heard. So sounds like it is really faint to me. Could just be the regular operation of the cruise. But it can't hurt to lubricate the cable. Just remove it from the TB, spray it with some kind of lubricant (I would go with graphite or white grease, not WD40). And then work the cable back and forth.

    See if that helps.

    If that doesn't work, pick up a module or cable only from the JY. Since they never go bad, it should be supercheap.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
