I currently have most of the mods suggested on here, and I am just looking for a bit more advice for what I can do to my 98 GTP. Here is what I have done:

    - Ported throttle Body (Thanks Reptile!)
    - New 10.3 plug wires
    - New Spark Plugs
    - New Intake
    - UBend & Cat Delete
    - 3.4 Pulley
    - New Supercharger with the upgraded seals, gaskets, and bearings
    - Colder thermostat
    - Adjusted bybass valve

I have a friend who is beating my by about a car, and I really want to take him, I am curious what mods you would suggest next to achieve this. Any advice you have is greatly appriciated.

You need a tune. What ever you did to the bypass valve, put it back to stock.

If you have a downpipe, get a plog or get some headers, you are probably knocking a lot. Are you scanning at all? Yes the pcm will be huge as well and more importantly, safer for you.

    x2

People need to stop f*cking with the bypass valve.

Oh and congrats on the ported throttle body and your plug wires, they are doing absolutely nothing for you.

The reason that I got the new plug wires was because the ones that were on the car had over 110K miles, and hadn't been changed. I got the ported throttle body from a guy on here for 50 bucks. I found and slp headers kit for $600, and just curious if that will make a huge difference or not.

My friend was going to tune the PCM for me, to remove the torque abuse, adjust the redline and stuff. His computer crashed and he doesnt have the software anymore but still has the cable, anyone know of any place that you can download the software?

wont really help until youre pretty well modded. the throttle body only gives the feeling of throttle response depending upon what you go with. other TB's arent progressive like ours is and instead they are linear so less throttle means more. i hated this about my northstar TB and quickly replaced it with a home ported stocker and sold it off. its pretty much like an intake though, the bigger the better. it only really helps when you get into smaller pullies though since youre moving such a massive amount of air then.

I wrote them a letter saying you get your pink panties in a bunch when you do not see performance in the same sentence as autozone and fart can. They said they where going to contact you to be the chief editor.
