As can be expected on a 21 year old car w/250,000 miles, things will go wrong. One of these things is the turn signals. On my '88 coupe, the turn signal lever is the same one that does the high beam/low beam and cruise control. After getting this car, I have realized that you have to pull the lever toward you (like you were going to flash the high beams) in order to get the turn signals to work. The trick is pulling the lever back far enough, but not all the way back (blinding the on-coming person). Is there some way to fix this without spending a lot of money or time doing it? As of right now, I haven't mastered it well enough, so the high beams keep coming on when I make a turn, LOL. Please help me!
